Privacy Policy

Data Collection
The Curtain Moments application (“the App”) collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
- Events information (artist, venue, date, location)
- Ticket images and photos you choose to save
- Friend and group information you create
- Your preferences and app settings
This data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework and remains on your device unless you enable iCloud Backup.
Sign in with Apple
We use Sign in with Apple for secure authentication. We only receive:
- Your unique Apple ID identifier
- Email address (if you choose to share it)
- Name (if you choose to share it)
We do not have access to your Apple ID password or other Apple account information.
iCloud Backup (Premium Feature)
When you enable iCloud Backup:
- Your event data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud Drive
- Only you can access this data through your Apple ID
- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- Data is transmitted securely using Apple's encryption
You can disable iCloud Backup at any time from Settings.
AI Ticket Scanning
When you scan a ticket using our AI feature:
- The image is sent securely via Cloudflare Workers to OpenAI's API for processing
- Only ticket information (text) is extracted
- Images are not stored by OpenAI or Cloudflare after processing
- The connection is encrypted (HTTPS)
- No personal information beyond the ticket data is sent
Cloudflare Workers acts as a secure intermediary to protect your API keys and ensure encrypted communication.
Thitd-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare Workers - secure API gateway for AI features
- OpenAI API - for ticket text extraction
- Apple iCloud - for optional backup storage
- Apple Sign In - for authentication
These services have their own privacy policies that govern their data handling practices.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data remains:
- On your device
- In your personal iCloud Drive (if enabled)
- Never shared with advertisers or data brokers
- Never used for marketing purposes
Diagnostics and Performance
To keep the app stable and fast, we collect anonymous diagnostic data:
- Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous crash reports to fix bugs
- Apple MetricKit: Performance metrics (battery, CPU, memory)
All diagnostic data is anonymous and never linked to your events or identity.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- Delete individual events from the app
- Sign out to remove local data
- Delete the app to remove all local data
- Delete iCloud backups from your iCloud Drive
When you delete data, it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
